Hello community, it is with great joy that we announce the opening of registrations for the Star Cup 2025.
The Star Cup is back with a new look. In this new format, crews must intelligently utilize the TRAINING CAMPS (TC) and SECRET TRAINING (ST) tools.
This new format expands the OSM (Open Star Movement). We will move beyond the normal scope of competitions and enter a war of strategies. It will be a beautiful reunion with history.
REGISTRATION: 12~30/07 GENERAL INFORMATION: 3~10/08 LINE UP: 13~16/08 START: 18/08
TOURNAMENT FORMAT
The Tournament will be held in the traditional system of Friendly Battles
{CREW VS CREW}, with 5 MANAGERS per crew (G1, G3, G5, G7 and
G9).
Knockout system lost the battle is out of the Competition.
Draw:
There will be 64 Crews divided into four POTS
The criteria to be used in the draw will be made through a ranking that the Organization will base itself on through the registered Crews. However, in the last Three Editions of the (Star Cup 2023, 2024 and 2025) according to the classification of each Crew participated in them.
Maximum number of registered Crews will be 80. After that, we will have a waiting list in case there are dropouts.
KEYING
PLAY-OFFS will consist of 32 Crews (those with the lowest score in the ranking made by the organization), the 16 Crews that qualify will go straight to POT 4 of the Draw.
1st PHASE: It will be composed of 64 Crews in eliminatory switching modules.
2ND PHASE (LAST 32): It will consist of 32 Crews in eliminatory switching modules.
Round of 16 (LAST 16):
It will be composed of 16 Crews in eliminatory bracket modules.
Quarterfinals (1/4):
It will be composed of 8 Crews in eliminatory bracket modules.
Semi Final (1/2):
It will be composed of 4 Crews in eliminatory bracketing modules.
Final:
The two best Crews face each other in a single round, the winning Crew is crowned as STAR CUP 2026 Champion. We will also have the confrontation to define the 3rd Place.
(We will use the same type of switching used in 2025.)
PARTICIPATION CRITERIA
Crews that have already participated in International Competitions organized by SEVO (WCC, CC, STAR CUP, I.C) name at least 1 competition.
Brazilian/Portuguese Competitions organized by SEVO (LNBG, CBG, CLG, CPG) name at least 1 competition
Competitions from other Organizations and/or Communities may participate, cite at least 1 competition
With more than 1 year of Creation
Crews suspended by Sevo and Partner Organizations will not be able to participate.
NOTE: The Tournament can only be held when we have completed a minimum of 80 registered Crews. If we have more registrations, there will be a waiting list, also based on the ranking made by the Organization.
This championship will be open to all Crews from all OSM Communities.

After the registration period ended, Sevo created a Points Ranking in its STAR CUP Competitions according to the participation of each Crew.
This Ranking was created so that the divisions of the pots are proportional to the points of each Crew according to their participation in the Star Cup (2023, 2024 and 2025)
